A Community facility containing approximately 16,000 sq.ft of Tribal Administration, Health, Community and Museum & Cultural programming, with display of Wet'suwet'en art and artifacts throughout the Community and circulation spaces. The construction materials are mainly standard wood framing, combined with heavy timber (post & beam) and glass, allowing generous amounts of light penetration and filtration throughout the building. A Geothermal system has been included into the design to supply an environmentally sustainable energy solution for this project. The design is utilizing all available and practical sustainable principles to achieve a LEED™ rating.
