The design of a 10,000 Sq. M. Shopping Centre is located in the centre of a historical city about an hour drive south of Prague. The “Sustainable Design” of a four-storey
building employs a “hybrid” construction system that integrates structural reinforced concrete with structural “engineered wood”. Components such as large roof & skylight structure over indoor atrium are further supplemented by non structural wood
building components such as prefabricated exterior wall panels, perimeter awnings, and other exterior and interior wood finishes.
All design solutions are prepared to utilize BC’s engineered wood and other value added wood products.
