Trubka Associates Architects (LTA) was established in 1975. LTA's repeat clients include private corporations, various departments of
municipal, provincial and federal governments, universities, school and museum
boards. LTA have been responsible
for Designs and Master Plans of large sites with complex facilities in
Canada, Europe, Middle East and Asia, with projects in excess of several hundred
million dollars of construction costs. LTA's projects are nationally and internationally publicized and have received
awards for design excellence, engineering innovation, energy efficiency and sustainability.
LTA are actively increasing broader use of sustainable, environmentally responsible construction technologies. Designs
utilizing Wood, Engineered Wood and other Value-added Wood Products in original concepts have earned LTA a
reputation of being renowned specialists. Mr.
Trubka is frequently invited to speak at seminars and symposiums of wood
construction. Many projects utilizing Premanufactured Engineered Wood Systems developed by LTA feature the most advanced Canadian Wood Products and latest building
technologies.
LTA are
promoting the use of BC's “environment-friendly” wood construction technologies
abroad, with projects in USA, India, Japan, Korea,
Taiwan, Russia, and Czech Republic. Mr.
Trubka is one of the founding members of Export Council of Canadian
Architecture (ECCA) and has participated on Team Canada and other Trade
Missions to Asia and Europe.
